How Patented SEATBELT BUDDY Came to Be:
A few years ago, we came across a number of news stories about drivers who had been shot during traffic stops. In many cases, the driver had been reaching for their license or for something in the glove box. We thought there had to be a better way to handle these situations. Surely there was a way to eliminate the need for unnecessary movement during a traffic stop, and another reason to wear your seatbelt. That’s when we came up with the idea for the SEATBELT BUDDY. SEATBELT BUDDY is designed to be placed on the seatbelt, where it is easily visible to the police officer during a traffic stop. SEATBELT BUDDY can store any license and driving information, as well as a space to place any medical documentation you may have. There is also a version of the SEATBELT BUDDY for deaf drivers. We know this is a great way to improve safety, organization and convenience for drivers during traffic stops. It’s also quick and easy identification retrieval for EMTs in the event of an accident.
